Ranchi, Jan 22: The Jharkhand High Court on Wednesday heard a petition demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged paper leak of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination.
The case was heard by a bench comprising High Court Chief Justice M.S. Ramachandra Rao and Justice Deepak Roshan.
During the proceedings, the court scheduled the next hearing for March 26. The state government informed the court that an FIR had been registered as per court’s earlier directive, and the investigation is currently underway.

The High Court instructed the state government to submit a detailed status report on the progress of the investigation within four weeks, emphasizing the need for a thorough and transparent inquiry into the matter.
In the previous hearing, the Jharkhand High Court had imposed a stay on the publication of results for the JSSC CGL exam 2023 until further orders, which remains in effect.
Senior advocate Ajit Kumar presented arguments on behalf of the petitioners today.
