Ranchi, June 11: The Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday heard a petition filed by Rajesh Prasad and 53 other candidates who failed to clear the mains examination of the 11th JPSC recruitment process, after qualifying in the preliminary test.

The court has sought a response from the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and scheduled the next hearing for July 21.

The petitioners have challenged the declared merit list and requested a re-evaluation of their answer sheets.

The matter was heard by Justice Deepak Roshan, with advocate Kumar Harsh representing the candidates.

The JPSC had issued Advertisement No. 1/2024 last year to fill 370 posts. The written exams have concluded, the merit list has been published, and the interview process is currently underway.
