Ranchi, May 27: The Jharkhand High Court is scheduled to take up the bail application of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren tomorrow.
His petition has been listed in the court of Justice Rongon Mukhopadhyay.
Soren, an accused in the land scam, has filed a regular bail petition in the high court. He also requested the court to hear his petition soon. His advocate made this request to the High Court through a mention memo, which has been accepted by the court.
Hemant Soren had withdrawn his bail plea from SC
Earlier, Hemant Soren had recently withdrawn his bail petition from the Supreme Court. The ED had arrested Hemant Soren on January 31 in the money laundering case after he resigned. The Special (PMLA) court has rejected his bail application.
