Jharkhand: Huge rush of JSSC examinees at Daltonganj rly station 

Rush of the examinee passengers at Daltonganj railway station today

Daltonganj, January 27: The Daltonganj railway station under the East Central railway of the Dhanbad division witnessed a heavy rush of examinee passengers today.

The examinee passengers were bound for Dhanbad and Ranchi, where the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has set up examination centres to hold the Combined Graduate Level exam on January 28.

Daltonganj railway station superintendent Umesh Kumar said, “The rush was tremendous. I had to move on to the platform to monitor the situation personally.”

The RPF contingent and the GRP came forward. There was no untoward incident. Umesh Kumar said he had to ask the rush to be calm while boarding the trains.

Umesh Kumar said boys and girls boarded the trains without much hullaballoo.

He said the first Dn Jabalpur-Howrah Shaktipunj express train came to Dhanbad, which has its stoppage.

Jabalpur-Howrah Shaktipunj express

Examinee passengers bound for Dhanbad took this Dn Jabalpur-Howrah-Shaktipunj express train.

Kumar said that following a massive rush of the examinee passengers, this Dhanbad-bound train was already overstayed by 2 minutes more in addition to its 2-minute stoppage.

The Dn Jabalpur-Howrah Shaktipunj express train arrived at Daltonganj at 11.32 am today.

It left Daltonganj railway station at 11.36 am with an additional 2-minute stay for the convenience of the examinee passengers.

Chopan-Ranchi express

Six minutes later, the Dn Chopan-Ranchi express train came, which also saw a good rush of examinee passengers for Ranchi.

Umesh Kumar said this Chopan Ranchi express train had no overstay and started from here after its 2-minute stoppage at the Daltonganj railway station.

Umesh Kumar said every passenger, whether a civilian or an examinee, boarded the two trains.
