Dhanbad, July 21: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Jharkhand state chapter has announced the formation of new Junior Doctors Network (JDN) committees for RIMS Ranchi, AIIMS Deoghar, MGM Medical College Hospital Jamshedpur, and SNMMCH Dhanbad for the term 2025–27.
IMA Jharkhand president Dr A.K. Singh stated that the JDN is an important wing of the association, designed to address issues at the local (college) level.
He added that, following the 2024 incident at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, the IMA’s national body activated the JDN in all states to empower doctors to raise concerns and resolve matters locally.
