Jharkhand: NaMo Nav Voter Conference celebrates National Voters’ Day

Jamshedpur, Jan 25: On the auspicious occasion of National Voter’s Day, the NaMo Nav Voter Conference, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, concluded grandly in approximately 5000 locations across the country.

The event, aimed at engaging and informing new voters, featured a virtual address by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, reaching an audience of around 50 lakh individuals.

Attendees get registered on New Voter Portal

One of the notable locations was the Sister Nivedita Women’s College Complex in Chakradharpur under the Chakradharpur Assembly. Hundreds of students gathered to witness Prime Minister Modi’s address on a large LED screen.

The attendees not only listened attentively but also actively participated in the democratic process by registering themselves on the New Voter Portal through a simple missed call to 78200 78200. Additionally, many students embraced the role of Vikas Bharat Ambassadors by downloading the Namo App.

The inauguration of the program at Sister Nivedita Women’s College Complex included the traditional lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to the paintings of Bharat Mata and Lord Birsa Munda Ji.

Prominent leaders present

Distinguished guests on the stage, including former MLA Shashi Samad, BJP Yuva Morcha spokesperson Amitabh Senapati, and District President Chandan Jha, marked the commencement of this national initiative.

Key figures present at the event included Dr Devvrat Mahapatra, the college’s principal, and various BJP leaders such as Malti Giluva, Rohit Pradhan, Krishna Kumar Dubey, Parminder Chauhan, Suresh Sahu Ji, Ganesh Tanti, and college teachers – Sunita Mahato, Mariam Purti, Piku Madhumita, Prakash Mandal, Yugol Pradhan, and Kanuram Nayak.

The collective presence of these influential personalities highlighted the significance of youth involvement in the electoral process and the BJP’s commitment to fostering an informed and engaged citizenry.
