Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive here on March 1 to inaugurate Hindustan Urvarak and Rasayan Limited (HURL) Sindri. He will inaugurate the plant at 11 am and hold a public rally there. However, officials said it will be a small rally inside HURL premises.

After the inauguration of HURL, the Prime Minister will arrive in Dhanbad city by a chopper and again hold a public rally at Barbadda airstrip in the afternoon.

Barring Pt Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Chandrashekhar, Atal Bihari Vajpayee,  Manmohan Singh visited Dhanbad district as Prime Minister but no one addressed two rallies on the same day in this district.

The March 1st visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the 3rd tour of Koylanchal after assuming the office. After becoming Prime Minister he arrived here on May 25, 2018, to lay the foundation of HURL Sindri and addressed a public rally at Baliapur air strip.

Former district president of BJP Hari Prakash Latta said that the party workers have been directed to be present at the Dhanbad Barbadda air strip rally only. The Sindri HURL plant rally is for limited persons.
