Dhanbad, May 16: BIT Sindri Arts Club’s new team president Saksham Singh assumed the charge for 2024-25 sessions.
At the installation ceremony, a colourful cultural programme was organized on the campus in the honour of new team and farewell of the outgoing committee of final-year students.
Besides president Saksham Singh, vice-president Divyanshu Kumar and secretary Rohit Sinha were also elected unanimously.
House of Arts Club
The House of Arts Club also assigned the responsibility to the president, vice-president and secretary to select other office bearers of the team.
At the installation ceremony, BIT Sindri Career Development Centre (CDC) Chairman-cum-Professor in charge of the Arts Club Dr Ghanshyam was the chief guest. While addressing members (students) of the Arts Club, he highly appreciated the performance of outgoing president Bitu Kumar, vice-president Gopinath Murmu, secretary Aniket Gupta and their team in promoting the arts and culture in the institution.

“Outgoing committee of final year students established institution’s supremacy in arts and cultural competitions at district, state and national level. They set up high standards in performance. I hope the office bearers of the new team will maintain their legacy and do their best to promote it,” said Dr Ghanshyam.
The new office bearers said that the Arts Club is committed to nurturing talent across various domains. Every performer student finds a stage to shine. The club’s dedication to inclusivity ensures that students from diverse backgrounds come together to celebrate their love for the arts.
The art club mainly consists of four sections- vocals and instrumentals, dramatics, Choreo, media graphics and design, which celebrates the programme of art throughout the year.

Besides, the Arts Club also holds workshops, competitions, and collaborative projects to provide students opportunities to develop their skills, learn during fest experts, and showcase their talent on a larger stage. Whether it’s a music festival, a theatre production, or an art exhibition, the club ensures that creativity knows no bounds.
