Jharkhand News: BJP demands CBI probe into all JSSC, JPSC exams conducted since 2019

Ranchi, Feb 22: The BJP today demanded a CBI probe into all examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission and the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) under the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) led government since 2019.

BJP state spokesperson Amit Mandal (MLA) while addressing media persons here on Thursday charged that the state government is cheating youth in the name of examinations so all JPSC and JSSC examinations that have been conducted by this government should be probed by the CBI.

Mandal said that the resignation of JSSC chairman (Neeraj Sinha) over a row on leakage of combined graduate-level examination question papers is an eye wash and the state government deliberately selected the wrong agencies for it.  Whichever agencies the Hemant Soren government has hired for examinations are either blacklisted or facing action in some states, he added.

“Questions papers leakage issues are the result of the state government and black listed agencies hobnobbing contradiction is seen in state government, appointment regulation, job policy and language dispute are not hidden from the youth of the state”, said the BJP spokesperson.

The BJP leader alleged that the Jharkhand Competitive Examination Bill of the government is a well-calculated conspiracy of the government to gag the voice of youth. Whoever speaks against the corruption of government would be sent to jail.

“The BJP has been fighting over JPSC, JSSC corruption issues for youth on street to assembly. The State government lathi-charged BJP MLAs, leaders and workers. Moreover, the state government even slapped an FIR against them,” said  MLA Mandal.

The BJP leader said that the state government will have to answer why it engaged Satvat Infosol Private Limited agency for Lab Assistant and JSSC PGT examinations. Six questions of the Lab Assistant, 22 questions of the JSSC PGT examination had been cancelled.

“Satvat Infosol Private Limited had been charge-sheeted by the CBI in the 2017 Ordinance  Factory Trichi recruitment scam. In 2019 this agency was held guilty in Thane (Maharashtra) Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) JE paper leak matter. Notwithstanding, the state government hired this agency”, said Mandal.

The BJP leader further charged that BINSYS Technology agency was engaged in the JSSC JE examination which is blacklisted in Bihar after the constable recruitment scam surfaced. He said ICN India Private was involved in the JPSC 7th to 10th examination. This is the same agency that is banned in Bihar and an FIR was filed against it.

“BJP demands a CBI probe into JSSC CGL, Lab Assistant PGT and JSSC- JE examinations”, said Mandal.
