Ranchi, May 1: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) today commemorated International Labours’ Day with a grand ceremony held at its headquarters in Ranchi.
The programme commenced with a solemn tribute paid to the martyrs of CCL by officials and union representatives at the Shaheed Smarak.
CMD addresses importance of shramik
CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, addressed the gathering, emphasising the dignity and strength associated with Shramik. He commended the dedication and hard work of all CCL employees, including outsourced personnel, for exceeding the production target of 84 million tonnes in the financial year 2023-24 by achieving a record-breaking output of 86.1 million tonnes.

Union leaders hail new CMD
Director (Technical Operations) Harish Duhan and Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra in their address highlighted the importance of teamwork and thanked every Shramik for their dedication. Representatives from various Unions, including Ramendra Kumar, congratulated the new CMD and reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the company’s continued success.

The programme included the felicitation of officers and employees from all CCL areas for their outstanding performance across various categories. A vibrant cultural programme added to the celebratory atmosphere.
