Ranchi, Nov 19: All Jharkhand Chess Association (AJSA) president Pradeep Verma (MP) visited Wave International, Chandil in Seraikela-Kharsawan to review preparations for the upcoming Junior National Girls Chess Championship 2024.
Chandil to Host Junior National Girls Chess Championship
The national championship will be held at Wave International, Chandil, from December 16 to 24.
This is one of the biggest national events being hosted by the Jharkhand chess fraternity, attracting young players from across India.

AJSA President Reviews Venue Infrastructure and Facilities
During his visit, Pradeep Verma was accompanied by AJSA secretary Manish Kumar. They inspected the venue’s infrastructure, including accommodation arrangements, boarding facilities for players, security measures, and other essential support systems for the tournament.
Organising committee chairman Manoj Kumar, vice-president Shailendra Kumar, patron N.K. Singh, organising secretary Ajay Kumar, and members R.N. Prasad, Anil Singhania, Utsav Kumar, Milan Kumar, Tapas Kumar, Sumit Kumar, and Mukund Kumar briefed the state president about ongoing preparations by the district chess association.
Satisfaction Expressed Over National Championship Preparation
According to sources in the Chess Association in Ranchi, AJSA President Pradeep Verma (MP) expressed satisfaction with the overall preparations and the readiness of the venue for the Junior National Girls’ Chess Championship.
