Jamshedpur, May 7: Students of Steel City have once again showcased their academic excellence in the class 10th ICSE examination conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi.
Priyanshu Kundu, a student of DBMS English School, emerged as the Jharkhand as well as city topper with an outstanding score of 99.6 per cent marks in the class 10th ICSE examination. Following closely behind is Diya Biswas from Loyola School, securing the second position with 99.4 per cent marks in ICSE.
Priyanshu Kundu harbours aspirations of becoming a doctor in the future. His parents, Madhusudan Kundu, a cloth merchant, and mother Sunita Kundu, a housewife, are understandably proud of his remarkable achievement.

Diya Biswas, expressing her joy, stated, “I am happy with my performance. I was keeping my fingers crossed, and I am glad that my efforts have brought cheers for my family.” Busy receiving calls from friends and media, she attributed her success to hard work and routine study.
100% pass rate for DBMS English School
Rajani Shekhar, the Principal of D.B.M.S English School, proudly announced that the school has achieved a 100% result in both ICSE and ISC Board Examinations 2024. All 217 students in ICSE and 160 students in ISC Examination 2024 have passed.
Moreover, a total of 79 students secured above 90% in ICSE, and 33 students excelled in the ISC examination, with 22 in the science stream and 11 in the commerce stream. She expressed her happiness and pride in the students’ achievements.
