DBMS Kadma High School holds Spell Bee contest

Jamshedpur, Aug 2:  D.B.M.S. Kadma High School organised an inter-house Spell Bee contest on July 30 and 31.

The final round of the Spell Bee competition was organized yesterday in which children from four groups participated.

Group A was for classes 1-2, Group B for classes 3-4, Group C for classes 5-6 and Group D featured classes 7-8.

The children participated with much enthusiasm.

The preliminary level competition had already been conducted in several phases and the final competition was completed in four phases.

In Group A, Dev Pramankar and Anjanya Prakash of Ruby House, in Group B, Kritika Chandra and Sulagna Goswami, Pathath Khedkar of Sapphire House in Group C and Bholmak Sahootha of Ruby House in Group D participated.

Bandra Srikundu and Aruna Anshuvas won the competition.

The main objective of organizing the competition was to emphasize learning and use of the English language.

On this occasion, the treasurer of the School Management Committee, Bhuvana Krishnan, joint treasurer Aruna Rao, Principal Gurpribhamra, Vice Principal  Supanatha Rai and S. Sheerin, Coordinator Benazir Gulshan, Malini Ashok and other teachers and students were present.

The program concluded successfully.
