Daltonganj, February 4: There will be an addition to the passenger amenities at the Daltonganj railway station under the Dhanbad division of the East Central Railway.
This railway station has one ATM. It’s of the SBI.
Now, another ATM kiosk is coming up. It’s of Hitachi Payment Services Pvt Ltd Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Commercial traffic inspector Vikas Sharma said, “The East Central Railway is always improving and adding amenities for the passengers at its railway station.”
Second ATM kiosk
This second upcoming ATM kiosk is in the series of better services. The Hitachi Payment Services Pvt Ltd Chennai is the lessee.

It’s a tender that the Ministry of Railways floats, and then the whole procedure is followed.
The licence ranges from one year, two years, to even five years, for which the railway takes a licence fee.
There are ATM facilities at Dhanbad, Parasnath, Hazaribag Road, Daltonganj, Barkakana, Gomoh, Koderma etc.
Station Superintendent Umesh Kumar said, “The Daltonganj railway station is going to have, besides this Hitachi ATM, lifts and additional feet over the bridge. It will benefit the passengers most.”
