Jamshedpur, April 24: A delegation of prominent businessmen from Jamshedpur today met Md. Shamsul Arif, First Secretary (Commercial) of Bangladesh.

Md. Shamsul Arif was here to visit the furniture store of a leading brand Hatil at Adityapur.

Sources said the potential of business between the two countries was discussed elaborately during the meeting.

Shamsul Arif invited a business delegation from Jamshedpur to visit Bangladesh, and invest in their growth plans.

The invitation was accepted instantly, and a delegation will be in Bangladesh soon.

The business delegation comprised national secretary of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) Suresh Sonthalia, Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) past president  Ashok Bhalotia, past general secretary of SCCI Bharat Vasani, past vice-president of SCCI  Mahesh Sonthalia and vice-president of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Vinod Sharma.

The meeting was hosted by Arun Bankrewal, proprietor and distributor of major Bangladeshi furniture brand Hatil.

Vasani said the meeting was fruitful and that it will further boost business opportunities between the two countries.
