Dhanbad, April 12: Keenan Stadium Jamshedpur is decked up to host the 1st T20 Cricket Premium League for people over 60 years of age, which is scheduled to be held from April 16 to April 19.

The tournament is a new initiative of East Zone Cricket Legends (EZCL) for retired cricketers registered with the Veteran India Cricket Foundation. Players are coming from Mumbai, Pune, Bhopal, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Ranchi, Nagpur and Jamshedpur.

The tournament organizer, former East Zone player Avinash Kumar, said the matches will be 20 overs for each side and played with pink cricket balls on a league basis. The final match will be played on April 19. The tournament is being supported by the Sports Dept. Tata Steel, TSBDCL and JSCA.

Match timing is from 7.30 am to 10.45 AM. 2nd match is from 11.45 AM to 3.00 PM.

WESTERN WARRIORS– Vidyadhar Pednekar (captain, Mumbai), Naresh Shenoy, Yashwant Duduskar, Achyut Damle, Mario Fernandes, Dr. Atul Gupte, Ravindra Khadye, P K Raman, G. Sathiyamoorthy, Padmanabhan S, Mehul Mehta and Stanislaus Fernandes.

CENTRAL STRIKERS– Bhope (captain, Pune), Anant Narale, Md. Iqbal Siddiqui, Ramchandra Bambawale, Atul Sahasrabudhe, Pradeep Godbole, Nitesh Gundecha, Narayan Sharma, Dinesh Nichrelay, Pradeep Deshmukh, Dhirendra Kumar Jain, Jayant Vyas and Hemant Kumar Sudan.

COMBINED HEROES – Subhash Chatterjee (captain, Ranchi), Ranjan Kumar, Shyamal Pramanick, Avinash Kumar, Ujjal Das, R. Neelakantan, Sam David, Maxie Manuel Dmello, Nitin Prabhakar Patil, Abu Shamim Ashraf, Rashid and Ramesh Pandey.

Qualified umpires of  the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) will officiate the matches.
