Jamshedpur, May 1: Loyola School in Bistupur commemorated Labour Day with fervour and appreciation at the Fasy Auditorium. The presence of Father Rector KM Joseph graced the occasion alongside Father Victor Misquith, Father Principal Vinod Fernandes, Fr Gerald Ravi D’Souza, and Jayanthi Sheshadri and Vineeta Ekka, Vice Principals of the Senior and Junior sections respectively.
The event commenced with a student delivering an informative speech, followed by a heartfelt poem expressing gratitude towards labourers.
A short drama titled ‘Shramik Samman’ emphasized the significance of respecting labourers’ contributions. Additionally, a captivating dance performance titled “We are the Labourers” showcased admiration for their dedication and hard work.

The management, represented by Father Rector and Father Principal, honoured the supporting staff with thoughtful gifts, while students of standard 6 conveyed their appreciation through handmade flowers and greeting cards.
James Laguri, from the Knowledge Centre, shared touching memories, expressing gratitude on behalf of the staff towards the Loyola management.
Father Rector concluded the event by imparting blessings and emphasizing the importance of demonstrating sensitivity and compassion towards labourers.
Principal Father Vinod Fernandes extended gratitude and delivered the vote of thanks, marking the culmination of the celebration.
