Jamshedpur, April 9: In preparation for the upcoming general elections, students at Loyola School took center stage by staging a ‘nukkad natak’ during the school assembly on Tuesday.

Play emphasizes vital role of individual votes in public policy

The play delivered a poignant message emphasizing the significance of voting as a cornerstone of democracy.

Vibrantly illustrating the notion that voting grants citizens a voice and a stake in the democratic process, the students conveyed a crucial message through their engaging and light-hearted performance.

They highlighted the pivotal role of individual votes in shaping public policy decisions and urged all attendees to recognize their civic duty.

Advocating for the power of every vote

Father Vinod Fernandes, the school’s Principal, echoed the sentiment by encouraging every eligible citizen to exercise their right to vote, emphasizing that voting is not merely a personal commitment but a collective obligation to the nation.

The event concluded with a solemn oath taken by the school’s leadership, faculty, and students, underscoring their unwavering dedication to fulfilling their democratic responsibilities.

In a resounding call to action, the Loyola School community emphasized the importance of every single vote, emphasizing that each ballot cast contributes to the collective fabric of the nation’s democratic journey.
