Jharkhand News: Mineworkers Federation meeting after 26 years in Dhanbad tomorrow

Dhanbad, May 11: A Steering Committee meeting of the Indian National Mineworkers Federation (INMF) will be held at Dhanbad tomorrow in which besides MP and MLAs and union leaders of CCL, ECL, BCCL, CMPDIL Ranchi, NCL, WCL, SECL, CIL, Tata Steel, NEC, SCCL and NEC will attend.

Giving this information, INMF vice-president Brajendra Prasad Singh (chairman state Cong Disciplinary Committee) said the Steering Committee meeting is being held after 26 years in Dhanbad.

Discussion on decisions taken at Puri convention

As per the notification issued by Secretary General SQ Jama, the participants will discuss the decisions taken at the Puri convention on December 15/16 2022, issues of NCWA X and XI, INMF and INTUC-related pending cases in different courts and organizations.

Singh said besides INMF president  Jayamangal Singh alias Anup Singh (MLA) and consultant  BK Das,  secretary S Q Jama, general secretary KS Shaktawat, vice-presidents- Girjashankar Pandey, Brajendra Prasad Singh, Chandi Banerjee, AK Jha, Sohan Lal Vaimiki (MLA), Sarfaraj Ahmed (MP), former MLA Manan Mallick,  Kishore Chand Patel, former MLA Sukhdeo Bhagat,  Amba  Prasad (MLA), Ramawatar Algamkar, OP Malvia, KK Singh, Haji Abrar Ahmed, B Janak Prasad, Atul Bora, UM Shankar Das, Shyamal Sarkar will attend.

Brajendra Prasad Singh said INMF members Mahendra Vishwakarma, CCL Ranchi, RP Sharma, Pajay Masih, Yogesh Roy, ECL Sanktoria, Ravindra Prasad, Indra Gopal Padi, NCL Sambalpur, Gangadhar Rewatkar, Laxaman Sadlawar, Naresh Barvey, R Shankar Das, Nadim Jama, Dipak Singh, WCL Nagpur have been invited to attend.

Gopal Prasad Singh and PK Roy of  SECL Bilaspur, Dilip Guha Mazumdar, Partho Sarthi Ray, Partho Mukherjee Gautam  Kumar Nag of  CIL/ DCC, Mithilesh Kumar Singh, BP Ambastha, Ramprit Prasad Yadav of BCCL Dhanbad, Birendra Singh Bisth of NCL Singrauli, Sarvesh Prasad of CMPDIL Ranchi, Santosh Mahto, SS Jama, Mohan Mahto Mahesh Prasad, Ashok Kumar Roy of Tata collieries, Binoy Barua of NEC Assom, S  Narasimha Reddy of  SCCL Kothagudam will also attend.

Besides them, Pradip Kokas (education secretary) Hemant Kumar Pradhan, Virendra Singh, Sanjukta Mahapatra Sangeeta Tiwari and Mausmi Chatterjee are special invitees.
