Jharkhand News: One paramilitary personnel dies as bus turns turtle in Giridih

Dhanbad, May 7: One paramilitary force personnel died while several were injured when their bus turned turtle on inter-state GT Road near Ghaghra College under Bagodar police station, around 65 km away from Giridih district headquarters on Tuesday afternoon.

Four injured persons were admitted at Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH)Dhanbad.  Emergency in-charge of SNMMCH Dr Dinesh Kumar Gindauria said that two seriously injured were referred to Ranchi in critical condition and they were airlifted duly.

Senior police officials of Giridh district said that the accident occurred at around noon. The bus loaded with Paramilitary forces was going to Garwha from Giridih.

One personnel died on the spot while several received injuries.  Some personnel were admitted to Bagodar Trauma Centre while seriously injured persons were referred to Ranchi, Dhanbad and other hospitals for better treatment.

Giridih Superintendent of Police Dipak Sharma and SDPO Dhananjay Kumar Ram immediately reached the incident site and arranged better treatment for injured personnel.
