Baba Baidyanath symbolises struggle for justice, equality: Jairam Ramesh
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh, writing on X, said, “The Bharat Jodo Yatra enjoyed darshan at Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Jharkhand.
“Baba Baidyanath Dham holds the distinction of being considered both a Jyotirlinga and a Shakti Peeth. It was our honour and privilege to seek the blessings of Baba Baidyanath, long associated with the struggle for justice and equality, as we continue on this historic yatra to seek nyay for the people of India,” he said.
Notably, the BJP has often mocked Rahul Gandhi’s visit to a temple, calling him a “chunavi Hindu” who displays his Hindu credentials only during polls.
