Ranchi, May 1: In the special court of Ranchi PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act), the bail plea of former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren, accused in a land scam case, was heard.

During the hearing on Tuesday, there was a debate between Hemant Soren and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for over an hour. On one hand, the defence presented arguments to grant bail to Hemant Soren, while on the other hand, the ED strongly opposed their arguments.

After hearing the arguments and evidence from both sides, the court reserved its judgment.
