Jharkhand News: Sikh Federation to honour talented Sikh students in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, May 27: The All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF), in collaboration with the Bistupur Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, is set to honour talented Sikh children in a special ceremony on Sunday, June 2. The event will take place at the Gurdwara premises.

Satnam Singh Gambhir, the Federation’s Eastern India Head, announced that the initiative aims to recognize and encourage Sikh students who have excelled in their CBSE and ICSE examinations.

“The Federation is committed to celebrating the achievements of these bright young minds. By honouring their hard work and dedication, we hope to inspire them to continue striving for excellence,” Gambhir stated.

To ensure that no deserving student is overlooked, the Federation is meticulously gathering data and reaching out to schools.

Students who have secured top positions or scored 80 per cent and above in their exams are encouraged to contact the Federation directly at 7739111007 to provide their information.

Gambhir emphasized the significance of respecting and nurturing talent. “Our sole objective is to motivate these children by recognizing their achievements, thereby bringing pride to our country and community. It is crucial to honour and respect their talents,” he added.

The announcement event saw the presence of notable community leaders, including former president of Mango Gurdwara Committee Inder Singh, Inderjit Singh Panesar, Manjit Singh Gill, and Amarjeet Singh Bhamra, who all echoed the sentiment of fostering and acknowledging academic excellence among Sikh youth.
