Jamshedpur, May 14: Jasmeet Singh Sodhi, spearheading the cause for justice for victims of the 1984 Sikh riots, has handed over an additional list of 18 victims to Satnam Singh Gambhir, the East India President of All India Sikh Students Federation.

Satnam, who has been directed by the Jharkhand High Court to compile district-wise lists of victims yet to receive compensation, returned to Bokaro to collect further details.

Following the High Court’s instructions to Satnam Singh Gambhir to document the number of victims yet to receive compensation, he has been tirelessly touring Jharkhand’s districts.

Most recently, he visited the Chas Gurdwara Sahib in Bokaro, where Jasmeet Singh Sodhi provided him with a list of 52 victims.

Satnam Gambhir’s resolve remains unwavering; he aims to ensure that every victim’s family receives the compensation owed to them. Expressing his commitment to the cause, Satnam Singh Gambhir emphasized that he would persist until every victim’s family receives justice.

Present during this significant moment were numerous victim families, including Jasmeet Singh Sodhi, Inder Singh, Mandeep Singh, Harpal Singh, Harpreet Singh, Satnam Singh, Ravindra Singh Khera, Kawaljit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Harbans Singh Saluja, and others.

Satnam Singh Gambhir’s dedication underscores the ongoing struggle for justice and highlights the collective efforts to address the grievances of those affected by the tragic events of the 1984 Sikh riots.
