Jamshedpur, March 22: Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (TSUISL), today celebrated World Water Day under the theme “Water for Peace: Creating Ripples for a Better Future.”

The event witnessed a series of engaging activities aimed at raising awareness about water conservation and sustainability.

Mobile van rally

The event kicked off with the spectacular Save Water Awareness mobile van rally, which traversed through the streets of Jamshedpur, starting from the Sir Dorabji Tata Park.

The rally, flagged off by Ritu Raj Sinha, managing director of Tata Steel UISL, alongside the senior leadership team of Tata Steel and Tata Steel UISL, aimed to ignite a sense of responsibility towards water preservation among citizens.

Water-tech exhibition and panel discussion

In addition to the mobile van rally, a day-long celebration occurred in the Russi Modi Centre for Excellence featuring the online inauguration of two Sewage Pumping Stations in the Eastern part of Jamshedpur, a Water-Tech Exhibition and a Panel Discussion.

Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel inaugurated the event in presence of Ritu Raj Sinha, managing director, Tata Steel UISL.

The panel discussion saw participation from industry stalwarts from Tata Steel, Tata Power, and Tata Motors, highlighting their commitment to sustainable water management practices.

The exhibition and technical presentations showcased innovative solutions and technologies from leading companies in the field of Water Management.
