Jamshedpur, June 6: The final prayer and tribute meeting for Sardarni Balwant Kaur Khanuja, mother of Amarpreet Singh Kale, former state spokesperson of BJP and renowned social worker, drew thousands of attendees at the Sakchi Gurudwara today. The event followed the completion of the Akhand Sahib Paath, which had begun two days earlier at the Kale residence.
A significant number of people from diverse sections of society attended the Shraddhanjali Sabha, including public representatives and members of various organizations. Attendees hailed not only from Jamshedpur but also from distant locations such as Ranchi, Daltonganj, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Ramgarh, and even major cities like Delhi, Agra, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
Former Union Minister Arjun Munda arrived directly from Delhi, and MLA Biranchi Narayan travelled from Bokaro to participate in the langar. The Gurudwara was so crowded that there was no room to stand, illustrating the profound impact of Mata Ji’s life and the high regard in which she was held.
At the condolence meeting, several prominent figures paid their respects, including State Health Minister Banna Gupta, former MP Pashupati Nath Singh, MLA Saryu Roy, MLA Mangal Kalindi, and former Union Minister Arjun Munda’s wife, Meera Munda, who became emotional while speaking about Mata Ji’s blessings.

Other notable attendees included former MLA Ramchandra Sahis, CGPC head Bhagwan Singh, Jharkhand Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee head Sardar Shailendra Singh, and former Minority Commission member Gurvinder Singh Sethi.
Speakers at the event highlighted the unity, kindness, and dedication of the Kale family. MLA Mangal Kalindi remarked on the exemplary character of Kale, attributing it to his upbringing. Former MP P.N. Singh shared his long-standing association with the family, while Bhagwan Singh praised the social work legacy of Kale’s father, Harjit Singh Khanuja.
Meera Munda, reflecting on the blessings she received from Mata Ji, choked up with emotion. Bibi Inderjit Kaur presented a symbolic picture to the family in memory of the late Sardarni Balwant Kaur Khanuja.
Earlier in the morning, BJP regional organization minister Nagendra Tripathi and other dignitaries visited Kale’s residence to express their condolences. Contributions were made by the Khanuja family to various religious and social organizations in Mata Ji’s memory.
The event saw the participation of numerous notable figures, including, Zila Parishad Chairman Bari Murmu, Metropolitan President Sudhanshu Ojha, and many others from political, social, business, and journalism fields. The gathering culminated in everyone sharing a meal at the Guru’s langar, where emotional tributes were paid to the departed soul.
