Wounded Eagle is on its way to recuperate in Palamu

Daltonganj, May 31: A wounded eagle is on its way to recuperate and it may take a few more weeks from now when this eagle takes to its wings.

It is in the orchard of the Medininagar forest division.

Medininagar Incharge DFO Kumar Ashish said this wounded eagle was brought to us by a resident.

The bird had wounds on her wing.

She was shown to a vet doctor Din Bandhu Gupta.

Gupta told this correspondent that her wings had wound but it was not fit for any surgical procedure.

The wound was washed and dressed. Anti-septic ointment was applied to the wound.

Gupta said the eagle was not made to swallow any pill. The anti-septic ointment did the wonder.

The eagle feels free to move in the orchard as forest personnel take care of it most.

A bird wounded and, on the ground, has many enemies. Stray dogs are the worst. However, this eagle is safe and secure.
