Jamshedpur, May 16: The Entrepreneurship Vertical of Young Indians (YI) Jamshedpur Chapter, in collaboration with the Innovation Vertical, successfully conducted a two-day summer camp titled ‘TeenOvate – Entrepreneurial Mindset & GenAI’ for Thalir (school) students from various schools across Jamshedpur.
The event, held at the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce, saw the participation of over 150 students from 10 schools.
Live Simulation
Day 1 of the camp, led by Vivek Debuka, Co-Chair of the Entrepreneurship Vertical, introduced students to entrepreneurship through storytelling.

This interactive session engaged students in a live simulation where they formed groups to work on identifying a business problem, creating an empathy map, finding solutions, and brainstorming the Four P’s of marketing.
Generative AI
Day 2, conducted by Shradha Agarwal, focused on Generative AI. Students participated in simulations on Text Generation, Image Generation, Image to Speech Generation, Video Generation, and Song Generation, offering a comprehensive and enlightening experience.
The day concluded with a session on Impactful Decision Making by CA Rishi Arora.

Throughout the two days, students also learned about the YI Road Safety Farishtey Awareness Program, Innovation Fest, and Accessibility Etiquettes.
Additionally, they wrote letters to their parents, encouraging them to vote in Jamshedpur on 25th May 2024 for the future of the country.

Udit Agarwal, Chair of YI Jamshedpur, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “TeenOvate was a remarkable initiative to ignite entrepreneurial spirit and technological curiosity among young minds. We are proud to have provided a platform for students to explore and innovate.”
Vivek Debuka, Co-Chair of the Entrepreneurship Vertical, added, “It was inspiring to see the students’ enthusiasm and creativity. This camp was designed to help them understand real-world problems and think like entrepreneurs.”
Who all were present?
The event was graced by the presence of Amit N Srivastava, Director of Arka Jain University, as the chief guest. A first-generation entrepreneur himself, he inspired students with his journey and insights.
Members present from Yi Jamshedpur included Rohit Kedia, Siddharth Agarwal, Saurabh Mittal, Ujjwal Mahato, Sagar Channa, CA Rishi Arora, Shradha Agarwal, Bijal Mehta, Udit Agarwal, Neha Agarwal, Umang Ranpara, Akansha Kedia, Harsh Kedia, Nehal Gandhi, and Mridul Goyal.
The camp received positive feedback from students and educators alike. Sumaiya Khatoon from NML KPS (Agrico) shared, “The session was fabulous, teaching us teamwork and time management. The storytelling and introduction to entrepreneurship were truly valuable. I am excited for future sessions!”
The success of ‘TeenOvate’ marks a significant step in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth of Jamshedpur.
