Jamshedpur, Nov 6: In a bid to foster electoral awareness and promote active participation in the democratic process, Loyola School in Bistupur organised an Election Awareness Programme under its Electoral Literacy Club.

The event, aimed at educating students, parents, and teachers about the significance of voting, saw enthusiastic participation from over 500 attendees.

Through engaging presentations and interactive sessions, the program underscored the importance of each vote in shaping the nation’s future. Participants took a collective pledge to ensure 100% voting turnout, committing not only to vote themselves but also to encourage their families to participate in the upcoming elections.

Father Vinod Fernandes, Principal, addressed the faculty members, and student representatives, highlighting how every citizen’s vote contributes to a stronger democracy. The initiative emphasized the power of informed voting, especially for first-time voters, and underscored the need for active youth engagement.

“We are committed to nurturing responsible citizens who understand the value of their vote,” said a school representative. “Through programs like these, we aim to make voting a family priority and reach 100% turnout,” he added.

The program concluded with a spirited pledge ceremony, as students, and teachers committed to upholding their electoral responsibility, inspiring a new generation of voters in Bistupur.
