Jamshedpur, Jan 30: The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West orchestrated a vibrant celebration at the Rotary School situated in Murgaguttu village.
The day was marked not only by the traditional flag hoisting ceremony but also by a spirited sports competition for the school children, followed by the distribution of prizes to the young participants.
The distinguished event witnessed Anjani Nidhi, Assistant Governor of Rotary Zone-18, hoisting the national flag, symbolizing unity and pride. Nidhi commended the commendable efforts of Rotary West in organizing such impactful events for the community.

Rotary Club Secretary Ashok Jha shared insights into the upcoming initiatives at Murgagut School and the surrounding village. He announced plans to provide vocational training to rural women in handicrafts during the after-school hours, promoting self-reliance within the community.
Rotarian Rishi Chandrani, schoo-in-charge Manisha, and Rotarian Vineeta Jha were instrumental in spreading joy by distributing gifts and sweets to the children, enhancing the festive spirit among the young minds.
Simultaneously, a delegation from Rotary Club West extended the Republic Day celebrations to the Rotary Initiation Center at Sonari Khutadih Sardar Akhra, marking the completion of the event in a grand manner.
PDG Pratim Banerjee, a prominent figure within the Rotary community, hoisted the Tricolor alongside a diverse group of participants, including children from the Play Group School run by Rotary, parents and local citizens.
Banerjee emphasized the significance of Republic Day and called upon every Indian citizen to fulfil their civic duties.
