Jamshedpur, Feb 13: The city’s leading social outfit, Arpan today provided ration material to a needy family for the Shraddha rituals and for the daughter’s marriage.

Such social services have been offered by the organization for the last nine years.

During the past nine years, the needy families were never mentioned in the service work done by the organization.

Every month, the outfit makes available ration for a month to more than a dozen economically weaker families.

The outfit has continued its good work for the past nine years. Members said it is for the betterment of the society.

“Our aim is to identify such economically weaker families and to provide them the requisite ration. We want to work for the service of mankind,” said a senior member of the social outfit.

In making the noble work successful, the contribution of Jugun Pandey, Mahesh Mishra, Prince Singh, Bibhash Majumdar, Deepak Singh, Ranjit Kumar, Balbir Mandal, Manish Chaubey, Manoj Halder, Ashish Kar, Sanoj Chandra, Kanchan Bagh and other members of the organisation is commendable.
