Ranchi, July 25: Jharkhand Speaker Rabindranath Mahto today issued orders to disqualify two MLAs- Lobin Hembrom and JP Patel- under the Anti-defection law for allegedly ‘shifting loyalties to other parties’.

The order, issued after hearing the petitions against them for merely two days, comes a day ahead of the Budget session of the Assembly.

The JMM petitioned against Lobin Hembrom after he fought the Lok Sabha election from Raajmahal as an independent against the party’s official nominee Vijay Hansda.

The BJP complained against Patel after he joined the Congress and fought the Lok Sabha election from Hazaribag.

Incidentally, both lost the Lok Sabha elections.
