Jharkhand team excels at 9th National Laser Run Championship

Dhanbad, Sept 9: Jharkhand athletes delivered a stellar performance at the 9th National Laser Run Championship 2025, held from September 4 to 7 at the HFC Ground in Bihat, Begusarai, Bihar. The boys and girls of the state team clinched a total of 13 medals—5 gold, 6 silver, and 2 bronze.

The championship was hosted by the Pentathlon Association of Bihar under the supervision of the Modern Pentathlon Federation of India.

Coach Lauds Historic Achievement

State team chief coach Shiva Kumar Mahto expressed great satisfaction with the players’ performance upon their return. He said this was the first time Jharkhand had secured such a large medal tally in the championship.

“Jharkhand team delivered an outstanding performance in this competition and received appreciation from all quarters,” Mahto said.
