Jamshedpur: Telco Police Station Peace Committee recently concluded a crucial meeting at the Sabuj Kalyan Sangh Auditorium, led by Senior Police Inspector Shailendra Kumar.
The event was graced by the presence of City Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sudhir Kumar, who addressed the gathering as the chief guest.
DSP stresses joint responsibility for peaceful Holi and Ramzan
In his address, Kumar emphasized the joint responsibility of the police force and peace committee members in ensuring the peaceful and harmonious celebration of Holi and Ramzan festivals.
He stressed the importance of fostering an environment of love and goodwill during these significant occasions. “This time, we have the opportunity to collectively believe in peace. Let us fulfil our roles with utmost dedication to make it a reality,” he urged.
Members of the Peace Committee were acknowledged as vital components in maintaining peace and harmony by acting as the eyes and ears of the administration.

Sudhir Kumar expressed high expectations from the committee, emphasizing their pivotal role in safeguarding peace.
Community leaders and organizations collaborate for peaceful festivals
Various representatives from the community, including JNAC representative Ravi Kumar, NP Singh and BK Chaturvedi of Tata Motors, and Mithilesh Kumar, a representative of ISWP, were present at the meeting.
They assured proper arrangements for cleanliness, water supply and lighting in the area, aligning with the concerns raised by the Peace Committee.
The meeting was efficiently conducted by Central Peace Committee member Nandlal Singh.
Key figures such as Kalyani Sharan, Ramashray Prasad, Omprakash Upadhyay, DD Tripathi, Riyazuddin Khan, Imtiaz Ahmed, and Omprakash Singh addressed the gathering. A vote of thanks was extended by Mithilesh Da, President of Sabuj Sangh.
Among the attendees were prominent individuals, including Sanjeev Ranjan, Shahid Khan, Alam Taj, BK Singh, Anil Prakash, PK Das, and others.
