Ranchi, January 20: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today put up a brave face after facing ED questions for around seven hours in the Ranchi land scam, saying the opposition has been continuously conspiring to topple the government since the formation of the government.

“Every conspiracy of theirs is failing. Today, opposition people are being targeted and attacked in a planned manner. This is not hidden from anyone. We also come in that category,” he said speaking to the JMM workers.

The chief minister said that he became the chief minister with the blessings of the public.

“So, under no circumstances should we let the state fall into the hands of conspirators,” he maintained.

“When these people are unable to deal with us politically, they are trying to shake the government from behind the scenes, but we are not carrots that anyone can uproot us.” “Whoever tries to uproot us, will uproot itself,” the chief minister said and added that those who have an evil eye on the state will be given a befitting reply.

Outside the CM House, JMM general secretary Vinod Pandey said that after the questioning, the CM met his workers and encouraged them. He said that Jharkhand is made of struggles, hence we will never be afraid of struggles. In response to a question, he said that exams are always difficult. “We don’t know what kind of questions will be asked. Even after this we should be prepared and we all are ready,” he added.
