Jamshedpur, March 14: Most Jharkhand districts would witness clear and dry weather today, said a bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

Weathermen said the maximum temperature would be on a rising trend for the next 48 hours after which it will witness a two to three degree drop.
Meanwhile, satellite pictures indicated that a trough from north Chhattisgarh to north interior Karnataka was running from interior Odisha to east central Arabian Sea across south Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Karnataka at 0.9 km above the mean sea level.

Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.

Some places including Jamshedpur experienced light rain last evening due to changes in local weather conditions.
The highest maximum temperature of 35.8°C was recorded at Chaibasa yesterday while the lowest minimum temperature of 15°C was recorded at Garhwa.
