Jamshedpur, Feb 23: Most districts of Jharkhand will experience dry and clear weather today, said a forecast issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
Weathermen said a partly cloudy sky is also expected to prevail in some districts but ruled out rain today
However, the forecast for three days from tomorrow, Saturday suggested light rain and thundershowers in isolated pockets of Jharkhand.
Satellite pictures suggested a cyclonic circulation over north Chhattisgarh at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

Jet stream winds with maximum speed up to 165 knots prevail over northeast India at 12.6 km above the mean sea level.
Another fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region from February 24.
Statistics revealed that Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 14 degrees Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 19 degrees Celsius.
Daltonganj, the Palamu headquarters today recorded a minimum temperature of 14.9 degrees Celsius while Bokaro recorded 15.5 degrees Celsius.
Several places including Chaibasa in the neighbouring West Singhbhum district today recorded a minimum temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius.
