Jamshedpur, April 20: India Meteorological Centre (IMD) issued a special bulletin on heat wave conditions over Jharkhand during the next 48 hours.
According to the bulletin, heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated pockets of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts of Kolhan region; Bokaro and Dhanbad districts of North Chotanagpur Division.
According to the Met bulletin, tomorrow, April 21 heat wave conditions will prevail in Deoghar, Jamtara, Godda, Pakur, Dumka and Shahibganj districts of Santhal Pargana region.
Again on April 22, Monday, heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated pockets of East Singhbhum,West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts of Kolhan region and Godda, Pakur, Dumka and Shahibganj districts in Santhal Pargana.

According to weathermen, a respite from heat waves and scorching conditions is expected only around Tuesday, April 23.
Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted thunderstorms and lightning at isolated places over southern and adjoining central parts of the state on April 23.
Mainly clear sky and dry weather would prevail over the state in the next two days.
Ranchi Met Centre predicted a gradual rise in maximum temperature in the next 48 hours.
