Jamshedpur, Jan 11: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather in Jharkhand with shallow fog in isolated pockets for the next two days.
Weathermen said shallow to moderate fog is expected early in the morning at several places in the next two days.
Some places might also witness partly cloudy sky, said weathermen.
The western disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over Haryana and neighbourhood was lying over northwest Uttar Pradesh at 3.1 km above the mean sea level.
The trough aloft in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level that was running roughly along Long. 75°E to the north of Lat. 28°N has moved away east-northeastwards.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over the state; while shallow to moderate fog was observed at isolated places over south-eastern parts of the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 27.8°C was recorded at Chaibasa on Wednesday while the lowest minimum temperature of 10.7 °C was recorded at Godda.
