Jamshedpur, Jan 10: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of an abrupt fall in minimum reading around this weekend.
The Met Centre predicted a fall of three to five degrees Celsius after the next two days.
The minimum temperature was currently prevailing over 10 degrees Celsius in most parts of the state.
The western disturbance is now seen as a cyclonic circulation over Haryana and the neighbourhood extending upto 3.1 km above mean sea level with a trough aloft in middle tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 72°E to the north of Lat. 25°N.

Dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours while moderate to dense fog prevailed over southern parts and shallow to moderate fog was also observed at isolated places over northern parts of the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 26.1°C was recorded at Jamshedpur while the lowest minimum temperature of 8.1 °C was recorded at Bokaro.
