Jamshedpur, Feb 7:  IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather in all 24 districts of Jharkhand and a drop in minimum temperature by at least 3 degrees Celsius in the next two days.

The Ranchi Met Centre issued a bulletin in this regard.

Satellite pictures suggested that a cyclonic circulation lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and the neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

Another cyclonic circulation lies over southeast Madhya Pradesh & neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

A trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over southeast Madhya Pradesh to North Interior Karnataka across Vidarbha and Marathwada at 0.9 km above the mean sea level.

Light rain was observed at isolated places over the state during the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, most places woke up to clear weather today. Fog and mist were experienced at many places which are located in higher terrain.

In its long-range forecast, the Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted light rain in western Jharkhand around Sunday.
