Jamshedpur, May 15: The heat and discomfort index is going to rise across Jharkhand in the next few days, hinted IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre today.
According to a long-term forecast issued by Ranchi Meteorological Centre the maximum temperature is expected to witness a rise of 3-5°C during the next four days.
“Dry weather condition is expected to prevail in Jharkhand for the next four days as we don’t see any adverse weather conditions impacting the state. Partly, cloudy sky is also expected to prevail in some places, “said a duty officer at Ranchi Meteorological Centre.

The duty officer went on to say that all 24 districts across Jharkhand would witness a rising trend in maximum temperature.
Satellite pictures suggested that a trough in mid-tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level was running roughly along long. 81°E to the north of lat. 32°N.
A cyclonic circulation over eastern Jharkhand and its neighbourhood was today lying over southwest Bangladesh at 1.5 km above the mean sea level.
