Ranchi, August 10: The monsoon remained active in Jharkhand, with several districts recording light to moderate rainfall over the last 24 hours. According to the Ranchi Meteorological Centre (August 10, 2025), the weather is expected to change from tomorrow, August 11, with the possibility of thunderstorms.
Temperature Forecast
The Meteorological Centre has stated that there will be no significant change in the maximum temperature in the state over the next three days. After that, temperatures may drop by 2–3°C over the following two days.
Rain Predictions
On August 11 and 12, many parts of the state are likely to receive light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder.
On August 13 and 14, light to moderate rain with thunder is expected in almost all areas of the state.
Thunderstorm and Lightning Alert
From August 11 to 14, some areas in the state may experience thunderstorms and lightning. Strong winds with speeds up to 40 km/h are also possible in certain locations.
