Jamshedpur, Nov 8: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued an alert of shallow fog in several isolated areas across Jharkhand in the next 48 hours.

Weathermen said the formation of fog has started with changes in weather conditions.

Today, several places including Jamshedpur witnessed early morning shallow fog before and after sunrise.

The shallow fog would reduce morning visibility. The shallow fog is also expected to hamper the movement of heavy vehicles on national highways due to poor visibility.

The formation of high clouds took place in several districts today and thus pushed up the minimum temperature.

According to weathermen, no significant changes are expected in both maximum and minimum temperatures during the next two to three days.

Today’s satellite pictures showed no significant synoptic condition over Jharkhand.
