Jamshedpur, April 10: Several isolated areas in southern and central Jharkhand are expected to experience thundershowers and lightning today, said a bulletin issued by IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre.
According to weathermen, on Thursday and Friday, several areas in southern and central Jharkhand are expected to experience thundershowers and lightning.
Today’s weather chart analysis revealed that the trough and wind discontinuity from north coastal Andhra Pradesh to south Tamil Nadu was today running from north Gujarat to south Tamil Nadu across the cyclonic circulation over Madhya Maharashtra and interior Karnataka at 0.9 km above the mean sea level.

Weathermen said the maximum temperature is expected to witness a slight rise in the next two days thereafter the day’s reading would again witness a fall.
Meanwhile, cloud cover prevailed at several places today since early morning.
