Dhanbad, February 4: Former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi alleged that Narendra Modi and the BJP are spreading violence and hatred in the country, and he has come out to sell love in the hatred market through the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

Public sector units

Rahul Gandhi, who was today addressing a public meeting at Bank More roundabout in Dhanbad in route to Bokaro district, said that the main aim of his  Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is to save public sector units, ensure justice for unemployed youth and tribals of the country.

Economic imbalance

In his four-minute address, the Congress’ former national president said that economic imbalance, demonetisation, and GST have ruined the future of youth in the country. “That is why he has embarked on Bharat Jodi Nyay Yatra,” he said, alleging that public sectors in Jharkhand, like Bokaro Steel, will be given to private parties.

“I took the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir last year. But in this Yatra from Manipur to Maharashtra, I have added ‘ Nyay’ word in to ensure justice to tribals and save public sector units being sold out by Narendra Modi and the BJP to two/ three capitalists,” said Rahul Gandhi.

He said the Congress is committed to saving Jal, Jamin , and the jungle ( water, land and forest) of tribal people and working for the education and employment of youth.

Dhanbad court

Earlier in the morning, Rahul Gandhi’s Nyay Yatra began from East Tundi block, which is around 37 km away from the district headquarters, at around 8 am. In the coal city, his caravan halted for a few minutes at Dhanbad Court, Subhash Chowk Naya Bazar.
