JMM MP Mahua Maji injured as car hits truck

Latehar, Feb 26: JMM MP Mahua Maji sustained a wrist fracture after her car collided with a stationary truck on NH-75 near Hotwag village in Jharkhand’s Latehar district around 2:30 am on Wednesday, police reported.

She was initially taken to Sadar Hospital for first aid before being referred to RIMS-Ranchi for advanced treatment.

Maji, a Rajya Sabha member, had been traveling back to Ranchi from Prayagraj with her son and daughter-in-law after attending the Maha Kumbh.

Her family members suffered minor injuries in the accident.
