Dhanbad, Sept 8: The Jharkhand Olympic Association (JOA) has nominated Saket Sinha and Ajay Mahajan from Dhanbad as associate vice-presidents of the state committee.
Experience in Table Tennis
Saket Sinha and Ajay Mahajan are also vice-presidents of the Jharkhand Table Tennis Association. Both have served as players and administrators for more than three decades. Last year, they represented the Jharkhand veteran table tennis team in the national championship.
Confidence from JOA Leadership
In this regard, JOA secretary general Madhukant Pathak issued letters to both sports administrators from Dhanbad, expressing confidence that they would promote sports activities in the region as well as across the state.

According to JOA officials in Ranchi, the decision was made after considering their dedication and administrative skills in sports. With this new role, they have been entrusted to work for the promotion of Olympic activities.
“On behalf of the Jharkhand Olympic Association, I extend my heartiest congratulations on your nomination and wish you every success in fulfilling the responsibility of this important position,” Pathak wrote in his letter.
