Ranchi, July 22: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has postponed the Combined Civil Services Main Examination 2025 and deferred all other recruitment examinations scheduled in the near future until further notice.
In an official notification, the Commission said the Combined Civil Services Main Examination 2025, scheduled under Advertisement No. 01/2026, has been postponed due to “unavoidable reasons.”
All upcoming exams put on hold
JPSC also announced that all examinations listed in the Proposed Examination Schedule released on July 9, 2026, as part of the Examination Calendar-2026, have been deferred until further notice.
The Commission said revised dates for the examinations will be notified separately.
Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the official JPSC website (www.jpsc.gov.in) for the latest updates and detailed notifications regarding the revised examination schedule.
The decision comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the alleged irregularities in the 14th JPSC Civil Services Examination, which is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). However, the Commission’s notification does not specify any reason beyond citing “unavoidable reasons” for postponing the examinations.
