Ranchi, Dec 19: The controversy surrounding the JSSC-CGL examination has now reached the Supreme Court, with a group of students filing a petition over the issue.

The next course of action will depend on the stand taken by the apex court in the matter.

Earlier, on December 3, a division bench of the Jharkhand High Court headed by the Chief Justice delivered its verdict, staying the results of 10 candidates while directing the appointment of the remaining successful aspirants.

The students said they have approached the Supreme Court as their last hope for justice and are expecting an impartial and fair decision. However, the petition is yet to be listed for hearing.

Meanwhile, following the High Court’s order, the JSSC has released the merit list of the successful candidates.
